“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist.” – Keyser Soze
The greatest trick a politician can ever pull is convincing the populace that his intentions are noble.
Some are. Others aren’t.
The right to vote comes with the responsibility to seek truth and an obligation not to ignore it.
It is our job to recognize tactics, to see beyond the spin, to hear through the noise and, most importantly, to not disregard deception.
Beneath all of the distractions lie facts. And facts don’t lie.
They exist in actions not words; in results not promises; and in evidence not excuses.
Truth, like intentions, can only be concealed for so long.
We are the Jury and today is judgment day.
