Never Too Old

When I was a kid I thought of becoming a lawyer when I “grew up”.

When the time came to act on it, I chose a different path – one that was originally only intended to be a diversion.

Today, I had the chance to walk along the very streets I used to wander when I was “deviating”. On these familiar roads, I searched for my old footprints.

I discovered that yesterday’s diversions are tomorrow’s destinations and that ambitions don’t fade with age.

We are never too old to be what we might have been.
